In order to investigate whether or not the diurnal variation of solar radiation is important in the climate modeling, we have carried out a sensitivity study by using a Two-level Atmospheric General Circulation Model. In order to investigate whether or not the diurnal variation of solar radiation is important in the climate modeling, we have carried out a sensitivity study by using a Two-level Atmospheric General Circulation Model. Taking the climatological zonal mean of July as the initial state and integrating the model up to 40 days, the averaged for last thirty days state is taken as the simulated monthly mean. The diurnal variation of solar radiation is included in one run but excluded in the other run. Comparing the results of the two runs, we found that without the diurnal variation of solar radiation, (i) both zonal mean precipitation and evaporation are reduced, especially on continents; (ii) at low latitudes the soil moisture is reduced; (iii) cloudiness is increased almost at all latitudes; (iv) net incoming radiation energy at the top of the atmosphere is significantly reduced; and (v) the net heating ratio of the ground is reduced, and hence the ground temperature is also reduced except the areas where the soil moisture is reduced a lot.The same experiment about January have also been done, and the similar results have been Obtained.Our results of numerical simulations show that the diurnal variation of solar radiation should be taken into account in the model for the climate modeling and the short to medium range prediction of precipitation, otherwise it might result in a considerable errors in the predictions.

本文用两层大气环流模式,作气候模拟对于太阳辐射日变化的敏感性试验.取实测的七月纬圈平均气候资料作为初始场,积分四十天,对后三十天的结果进行平均,作为模拟的月平均状态.另一个试验则是在模式中去掉太阳辐射的日变化,其它都和第一个试验相同。比较这两个试验的计算结果,发现:若忽略太阳辐射的日变化,(i)使纬圈平均降水和蒸发都减少,尤其在中纬陆地上更为显著;(ii)部分地区土壤湿度减少;(iii)云量增加;(iv)大气顶净辐射收入明显减少;(v)地表净加热明显减少;并使土壤湿度变化不大的地区地表温度明显降低. 我们还取了一月纬圈平均气候资料作为初始场,作了同样的数值试验。得到了类似的结果. 本文的结果表明,要作出正确的气候预测,以及作中、短期降水预报,考虑太阳辐射的日变化都是必要的.

The soil moisture content, when each tree reaches the withered state, has been fixed by determining the transpiration intensity and the leaf water potential of the nursery stock and by observing the nursery stock shape and the soil moistures trends when the plant withers. The paper points out that the withered moistures vary with each species of tree under equal soil and climate conditions. The lower the withered moisture, the higher the drought resistance capacity of the tree.

对晋西黄土高原油松等5种主要造林树种,每种采用30个重复的盆栽试验。通过对苗木蒸腾强度的变化、叶水势的测定,并结合苗木凋萎时的形态观察及其凋萎过程中土壤湿度的变化规律,来确定每一树种凋萎时的土壤含水量。在同一土壤、气候条件下,不同树种有着不同的凋萎湿度,而且它们之间有着较大的差异。凋萎湿度愈小则表明该树种抗旱力愈强。
