The rate of lead evaporation is controlled by the lead volatilization reaction and the diffusion of gaseous lead through gas boundary on surface of the liquid lead.

在氮气气氛和1100~1300℃温度范围内,对含锌铅粉尘配碳球团中的铅挥发动力学的研究表明:还原温度对铅挥发速率有显著影响,而煤粉粒度及过量碳含量对铅挥发速度则没有影响。求得铅挥发表观活化能为88.74kJ/mol,并确定铅的挥发限制性环节为铅的蒸发和铅通过其表面气相边界层的扩散。
