Methods In 12 fresh and 4 old mallet fingers, the broken tendons were sutured with double metal needle and double button Bunnell's suture (Made in Germany). Matress suture using 3 0 nylon suture were added. The suture tension maintained the DIP joints in extension of 10~20 degrees.
AO tension band wiring, Xu's tension band wiring, figure of eight tension band wiring and Magnusson wiring were examined respectively. Results The figure of eight and Xu's tension band wiring were more effective than AO tension band wiring. All of them could bear tensive force over 294N and may provide sufficient fixation to allow immediate range of motion after operation.
Objective To introduce and evaluate treatment outcome of mallet fingers using double metal needle and double button Bunnell's tendon suture. No external fixator was used. Results The DIP joints of 14 cases could extend to 0~5...
Objective To introduce and evaluate the procedure of vesica percutaneous bladder neck suspension for female stress incontinence. Methods A specially designed instrument was used to place a Z stitch through the full thickness of the anterior vaginal wall and pubocevical fascia and then anchored to the pubic bone at a fixed tension.5 cases were thus treated. Results Pad test has been negative postoperatively in all the 5 patients. The mean follow up was 25.2 months with no incontinence in all. Conc...
Objective:To study the prevention of reflux as the complication resulting from esophagus replacement with colon by means of antiperistalsis. Method:In the last 16years, 38cases were analysed by dividing into two groups at random with different treat schemes. 12 cases in group A were under traditional surgical treatment. 26 cases in group B were given the method that mucosa and valve anastomosed respectively so as to strengthen the tension of anastomosis. Result: In group A, 12 patients incurred reflux(100%)...
