指出调节纵扭振动谐振频率一致 (这一过程称为模态简并 )是提高纵扭复合型超声波电机输出力矩的关键。有限元方法计算得到的纵扭模态频率往往与实际存在着一定的误差 ,因此文中介绍了 3种较实用的纵扭模态简并方法 :调节定子有效截面系数α,调节转子高度以及采用缩颈结构调节配重质量 ,并结合实验研究分别对这 3种方案进行了评价。经模态简并后的纵扭复合型超声波电机原理性样机 ,最大输出扭矩已超过 4Nm。
