利用现有的商用并行、分布式计算机系统本身所固有的冗余可以实现低成本的容错。为了提高整个分布式计算机系统的可靠性,将系统中的故障结点与正确结点隔离至关重要。文章提出了一个有效的分布式系统级故障诊断算法:在利用系统中各结点机有限的故障检测能力的基础上,将所有的故障结点从系统中隔离,并测试了该算法对系统性能的影响。

测试准则是完成软件测试必须满足的条件 ,一个可行的测试准则是当且仅当对任意一个程序 ,都存在一个测试用例集能够满足该准则 .但在通常情况下 ,由于程序中不可执行的语句或路径的存在 ,使得基于数据流的测试准则不可行 .在一类具有可行性的测试准则FDF的基础上 ,给出了三类新的基于数据流的测试准则 ,并且证明其中两类准则比FDF测试准则具有更强的故障检测能力 .

现有的基于故障覆盖率的软件可靠性增长模型多是只考虑了累计故障覆盖率 ,没有描述每个测试用例能够获得的故障覆盖率 .为了使软件可靠性增长模型能更好地刻画软件的测试过程 ,建立了两个基于故障覆盖率的非齐次泊松过程类软件可靠性增长模型 .第一个模型假设每个测试用例有相同的故障检测能力 ,能获得相同的故障覆盖率 ;第二个模型考虑了越晚检测到的故障其被检测到的概率越低的特点 ,模型假设每个测试用例的故障检测能力与其出现的次序相关 .利用一组公开发表的软件失效数据对这两个模型进行了验证 ,结果表明这两个模型在这组失效数据上均能得到较好的拟合效果 .
