In this paper, the cutting processes for a disk cam have been studied by author. The method of the cutting process for a disk cam by circle-enveloping is presented and quantitatively ana-lyzed. This cutting process technique gives an efficient method for cutting a high accuracy cam by gen-ernal machine tools in machine works.
