In this paper a double cathodes glow ion bombard furnace is introduced. Comparing with the conventional double heating ion bombarded furnace,the heating is faster,tbe temperature is more homogeneous and easy to be controlled,with simple construction and energy saving. The surface heat treatment processes such as ionitriding,ion carburizing and ion carbonitriding can be carried out in this furnace and good economic benefit can be obtained.
