A bidirectional power supply for piezoelectric actuator was proposed and studied,which can apply high bidirectional voltage to the piezoelectric actuator continuously from negtive to positive.

This paper shows that the shear stress distribution in bonding layer has similar characteristics to the strain distributions near the ends of the actuator.
