The detection Limit is 3.6×10~(-3)μg/mL,the ralative standard deviation is 2.4% and the linear range of determination is 0.1—1.3μg/25mL for Mn(Ⅱ). The method has been suc- cessfully used to determine Mn in cereal samples.
The method has a high sensitivity with an apparent molar absorptivity of 2×107L· mol-1·cm-1. The limit of detection for Mn is 4×10-11g/ml. The linear range of the determination is 2-28ng/25ml. Trace manganese in water samples and cereal samples has been successfully determined by the method.
