In this paper,the curved shell finite element method is adopted to analyse the ultimate strength of stiffened plates under compression with different stress gradients as well as the interaction curves P'/P_y'-M'/M_p' of thin-walled box sections and the ultimate strength of axially and eccentrically loaded box columns in consideration of the post-buckling effect of plates.All initial im- perfections are taken into account in analysis.Comparison between the results of the prevailing specifications and the theory of this paper is presented. Errors of the specifications are checked,Equations for calculating the ultimate strength of axially loaded and pure bending stiffened plates and thin-walled box sections are proposed according to the theoretical results.A simple interaction equation is presented for calculating the ultimate strength of eccentrically loaded sections and finally effective design methods for axially and eccentrically loaded columns are suggested,The results of the suggested methods are in good agreement with that of the finite element method.

本文采用曲壳有限单元法计算了具有不同应力梯度的加劲板件的极限强度、薄壁方管截面的P′/P′_y-M′/M′_D相关曲线和轴心及偏心受压方管柱考虑板件屈曲后效应的极限承载力。计算中计入了所有初始缺陷。根据理论计算结果分析了现行规范计算薄壁方管柱所产生的误差及其原因,提出了计算薄壁方管截面在轴压和纯弯矩作用下的极限承载力的计算公式,并给出了计算偏压方管截面极限承载力的相关公式。最后建议了新的受压方管柱屈曲后极限承载力的设计计算方法,共结果与曲壳有限单元法所得结果非常吻合。

Making use of finite strip method to analyse respectively the interactive buckling of Z-section members with stiffened edges under axial compress and tending in this paper. paper. formulations of buckling coefficients are induced. According to the energy principle, the elastic buckling theory of edge stiffened plate elements and the elastic interaction buckling theory of cold formed lipped channel members are established in this paper. An energy method is used to analyze the buckling or interaction buckling behavior of edge stiffened plate elements and members under combined compression and bending. The buckling coefficients and the restrained coefficients considering the plate assembly effects on edge stiffened plate elements are obtained, and the formulae of buckling coefficients and restrained coefficients are adopted in the new Chinese Technical Code for Design of Cold formed Thin wall Steel Structures(GB 50018). Theoretical results are verified by a total of 50 cold formed lipped channel column tests. The experimental load carrying capacity and load carrying capacity calculated by the effective width to thickness ratio method of the new Chinese code have been compared and agreement is found to be good. The effective width to thickness ratio design method considering the plate assembly effects is superior to the relevant design method of American or old Chinese code.

本文根据能量原理,建立了边缘加劲板件的弹性屈曲理论和卷边槽形截面薄壁构件的板组相关屈曲理论。通过屈曲理论分析,得到了非均匀受压边缘加劲板件的屈曲系数及其反映板组效应的约束系数,并将其引入新修订的《冷弯薄壁型钢结构技术规范》(GB50018)的有效宽厚比设计方法中。本文介绍了50根冷弯薄壁型钢受压构件试验,并按修订后的规范方法进行了试件承载力计算,计算值与试验值比较,偏于安全。将考虑板组效应的有效宽厚比设计方法与国内外现行规范设计方法相比较,具有优越性。
