The cerebrum is much wider but shorter than that of the duck and goose.The telencephalic vallicule is much longer, and it extends to the lateral side of the olfactory bulb directly. The sagittal eminence spreads out of full length of the dorsal cerebrum. The cerebellum is well-developed,it extremely enlarged to the anterior and posterior ends. The length and the width of the cerebellum are remarkablv larger than that of the duck and goose. The midbrain is also well-developed, especially the optic lobe. The average length of the optic lobe is 14.50mm, the width is 9.10mm, Both of these data are considrably targer than those of the duck and goose. The optic tract is very thick, the width is 8.37mm.The results of this study suggested that the oriental white stork has a well-developed optic nervous center and a strong regulator nervous center of flying. Its morphological characteristics and the physiological function arc completely correspondence.

The composition in these tissues comprises myristic acid (1%-2%), palmitic acid (more than 35%), palmitoleic acid (9%-11%), stearic acid (less than 1%), oleic acid (about 32%), linoleic acid (12%-17%) and linolenic acid (3%-6%). After flight, FA level in the fat body, compared to that at rest, shows a significant decline at about 20 μg/mg tissue·h-1; the concentration of FAs in hemolymph rises evidently, but change of FA content in flight muscle appears to be small. From the changes of proportional composition of FAs in fat body, hemolymph and flight muscle, it is found that the FAs selectively utilized for flight in flight muscle are predominantly the palmitic acid and oleic acid.

目的 研究东方田鼠天然抗日本血吸虫抗体及其 Ig G亚类。方法 采用 EL ISA试验 ,分别检测室内繁殖的东方田鼠、Balb/ c和昆明种小鼠血清中 8种抗童虫 (SSA)、抗成虫 (SAWA)和抗虫卵 (SEA)抗体及 Ig G亚类。结果 首次发现东方田鼠抗 - SSA Ig G3水平明显高于 Balb/ c和昆明种小鼠 ,分别为后者的 1.44倍和 1.5 5倍 ,而抗 - SAWA Ig G3和抗 - SEA Ig G3水平则无明显增高。结论 东方田鼠体内确实存在天然抗日本血吸虫抗体 ,并且可能主要作用于童虫阶段
