In light of Ultra-Wideband(UWB) communication's characteristics of ultra-short pulse timing synchronization and cluster of received signals and in accordance with the mean time formula of capturing obtained through the five serial-search algorithms based on Markov model,this paper first presents an analysis of the particular synchronization problem of pulse timing over frame period in UWB communications,then applies Markov chain theory to the process of formula reasoning.The simulation results show that bit reversal search can drastically reduce the mean acquisition time.

针对超宽带(UW B)通信中窄脉冲时位同步的特殊性及其接收脉冲信号的簇特性,根据文献[1]提出的五种基于M arkov链模型的顺序搜索算法所给出的平均捕获时间公式,运用M arkov链理论对给出的各种搜索算法的平均搜索捕获时间的数学公式进行详细的推导,得到正确的平均捕获时间公式,并通过仿真结果验证了比特反转搜索算法所需的平均捕获时间最短。同时对UW B通信特殊的脉冲帧内窄脉冲时位的同步捕获问题进行了阐述。

This paper describes the particular synchronization problem of pulse timing over frame period in UWB communications, then emulate the performance of those five search strategy by Monte Carlo emulation mode, and get a conclusion that the bit reverse search strategy is the best in mean acquisition time.

在脉冲超宽带(IR-UWB)系统中,脉冲时位同步对接收机的信号检测,保证通信的有效性和可靠性方面具有重要的作用。文献[1]提出了五种基于Markov链模型的顺序搜索算法,给出了平均捕获时间公式。文献[2]从集合论的数学分析方法论证了串行搜索中存在一种最优排列,同时得出此最优排列即为跳K搜索。本文对IR-UWB密集多径信道产生其接收脉冲信号的簇特性进行描述分析,同时采用蒙特卡罗仿真方法对文献[1]给出的五种搜索算法的平均搜索捕获步数进行了性能仿真,分析仿真结果得出在未知信道参数时比特反转搜索算法所需的平均捕获时间性能最好。
