We developed an actual simulating virtual machining environment based on the research of the Virtual Reality technology and the NC machining techniques. This paper focuses on the modeling of constructing the virtual machining environment and the function model of the virtual machining environment.The main contents are as follows: 1.Constructing the model of machining features of the equipment. 2.Describing the geometrical modeling of equipment. 3.Constructing the kinematical model of machining center. 4.The model of data flow during the simulation process of the virtual machining environment.

在研究虚拟现实技术、数控加工技术的基础上 ,开发出了一个真正的仿真虚拟加工环境 ,主要包括车间、机床、夹具等场景 ,该车间包括三坐标铣削加工中心等 5台机床 ,机床实现了仿真加工能力 ,车间提供了用户漫游功能。同时该环境实现了对零件可加工性的评价、机床及刀具加工参数的合理性评价、NC代码的验证等工作。阐述虚拟加工环境的建造模型、功能模型及关键技术 ,主要包括设备加工特征的建模、设备几何建模的描述、加工中心的运动学建模、虚拟加工环境仿真过程的数据流模型、加工过程的工件逐步成型算法等关键技术。
