This paper analyzes the mode I crack problems of finite structures based on the local global analytical method. The asymptotic expression, a kind of high power singular element is constructed. It takes place of the crack thick mesh of usual finite element. The size effect of finite structure has been analyzed. The structure thickness and length effect on stress intensity factor have been analyzed in detail.

Finite element method is used to calculate the stresses at the crac k tip in the anti-plane shear rock specimens,with different crack spans(SL),cr ack lengths and specimen thicknesses.The size effect on the stresses at the cra ck tip is discussed.The crack initiation angle and fracture mechanism are studi ed numerically and experimentally.The results show that Mode Ⅲ(anti-plane she ar) fracture is not certain to occur under the anti-plane shear loading.When th e ratio of maximum shear stress to maximum tensile...

采用有限元方法分析了在反平面剪切(Ⅲ型)加载下岩石裂纹尖端的应力场及其尺寸效应,探讨了岩石在Ⅲ型加载下的起裂角与断裂机理,并与实验结果加以对比。结论表明,在Ⅲ型加载条件下,岩石不一定产生沿原裂纹面裂纹扩展的Ⅲ型断裂。当试件的最大剪应力与最大拉应力之比τmaxσ1小于其临界值之比τctσ时,往往产生偏离原裂纹面方向而沿着最大拉应力方向的拉伸(I型)断裂,断裂轨迹为一空间螺旋面。为实现Ⅲ型加载下沿原裂纹面扩展的Ⅲ型断裂,建议采用SL>0.8和aw<0.2的反平面冲剪试件。
