Instead one can use an beam spot minimizing method, in which the beam spot at screen is focused as small as possible. In this paper we give a new two screen emittance measurement formula which corresponds directly to the condition “beam spot minimizing”. Thus the problem of two screen emittance measurement is solved completely.

双屏法是一种常用的标准的几何发射度测量方法,它需要束流在其中一个靶屏上成腰这一特定条件。在把束腰调到靶屏上非常困难的情况下,可通过调节前面的四极磁铁使靶屏上的束斑尽可能的小(束斑极小化),以此代替“成腰”条件,并推导出与“束斑极小化”相对应的双屏法测量发射度计算公式。
