AIM To explore the characteristics of sequential verbal abilities of patients with left frontal tumor. METHODS A case control study was carried out using the cognitive laterality battery of neuropsychological test (CLB), based on 17 diagnosed left frontal tumor patients. RESULTSThe results of 4 sequential verbal abilities in the left frontal tumor group was significantly lower than those of the control group ( P <0.05). The results of 4 visuospatial abilities did not show significant difference ( P >0.05)....

The results of 4 visuospatial abilities did not show significant difference ( P >0.05). The visuospatial factors (A) of case and control group were 97±6 and 101±7. The verbal sequential factors (P) of case and control group were 88±5 and 109±8. The cognitive laterality quotient (CLQ) of the cases group was 9±7, which means that the patients' information production abilities of right hemisphere was normal. CONCLUSION Frontal tumor may easily affect sequential verbal ability, which we can assess by CLB.

目的 探讨左侧额叶肿瘤患者言语 -序贯能力的障碍特点 .方法 采用认知侧化成套测验 (CL B)对 17例左侧额叶肿瘤患者及正常对照组进行研究 .结果 病例组 4项言语 -序贯能力测验成绩明显低于对照组 (P<0 .0 5 ) ,4项视觉 -空间认知能力测验成绩未构成显著差异 (P>0 .0 5 ) ;病例组和对照组空间能力分数 A分别为 97± 6和 10 1± 7,未构成显著差异 ;言语序贯能力分数 P分别为 88± 5和 10 9± 8,构成显著差异 ;病例组 CL Q为 9± 7,说明病例组右半球信息加工能力基本正常 .结论 左侧额叶肿瘤患者言语 -序贯能力受到影响 ,CL B可以作为评估其言语 -序贯能力障碍的一种方法

Method EEG was recorded when 12 normal participants were performing the visual spatial matching task and the abstract geometrical figure matching task in the n back paradigm in which the memory load varied from 1 to 3. Result Theta ERS was observed along with alpha ERD. As the memory load increased, the 6~8 Hz ERS decreased and the alpha ERD increased. The theta ERS and alpha ERD elicited by the figure matching task were larger than those in the visual spatial matching task. The fact that most of the differences were observed in the CZ and FZ electrodes was in line with the view that the activation of attention and working memory was often found in prefrontal and parietal regions. Conclusion The event related EEG synchronization and desynchronization varies with the visual memory load and therefore are good indicators of memory load.

目的研究视觉空间记忆和抽象几何图形记忆的工作记忆负荷对脑电事件相关同步化和去同步化的影响。方法采用n back范式 ,取n分别等于 1、2、3为 3种负荷水平。 1 2名被试者在 3种负荷水平下完成视觉空间匹配和抽象几何图形匹配两类记忆任务 ,并记录其脑电。结果theta波的ERS总是伴随着alpha波的ERD出现。随着任务难度的增大 ,6~ 8Hz的theta波的ERS下降 ,alpha波的ERD增大。图形匹配任务引出的thetaERS和alphaERD均大于空间位置匹配任务。任务难度和任务类型的效应大多出现在CZ和FZ电极 ,这与任务所包含的注意和记忆的加工主要激活额叶和顶叶皮层的观点相符合。结论EEG的ERD(或ERS)随视觉记忆负荷变化 ,因此可作为反映视觉记忆负荷的有效指标
