    The purpose of this study was to examine the bone reactions to 2 endodontic materialFR and CCQ.The standardized bone implantation technique recommended by FDI was used in thisstudy.The results showed both materials caused basically slight inflammatory reactions.Neither systemic toxic reaction nor allergization caused by either CCQ or FR were observed,which indicate that they possess good qualities of biocompatibilities.However,CCQ has thetendency of delay in maturing of connective tissue.

    An experimental study was performed on the mechanics of the tendon implanted into bone in 29 rabbits. The changes of the mechanical strength, the histological structure of the tendon—bone junction and the relationship of each other were studied.     From the results of this experiment, it showed that the implanted tendon was gradually extruded from the tibia hole and attached to the periosteum. The dominant breeding of tissue cells, cytodynamics, the perimeter ratio of tendon/bone and the effect of revascularization were discussed in detail.
