With the development of optical fiber communication technique, the requi-rements on the quality of optical fiber are more and more severe. Among thequality indices of optical fiber, the uniformity of fiber diameter and the mag-nitude of tension are critical, since variations in fiber diameter and tensionappreciably affect the optical and mechanical properties of optical fiber. Inorder to satisfy the requirements of optical communication, it is highly neces-sary to control completely the factors affecting fiber...

With the development of optical fiber communication technique, the requi-rements on the quality of optical fiber are more and more severe. Among thequality indices of optical fiber, the uniformity of fiber diameter and the mag-nitude of tension are critical, since variations in fiber diameter and tensionappreciably affect the optical and mechanical properties of optical fiber. Inorder to satisfy the requirements of optical communication, it is highly neces-sary to control completely the factors affecting fiber performance. Consideringthese factors, we have developed a high speed Optical Fiber Drawing ProcessMicrocomputer Adaptive Control System (OFDPMACS). In this paper, wediscuss the design and implementation with a dual-microcomputer of OFDPMA-CS. Aimed at the requirements of high precision and high speed on the draw-ing of optical fiber, we propose a new self-tuning control algorithm based onoutput prediction. The fiber diameter can be controlled within the range of125±0.5μm with such an algorithm. The result is much better than that ofPID controller. The tension of optical fiber is another important quality index.However, there are many factors affecting the tension and a suitable mathe-matical model is difficult to build. In order to avoid the difficulty, we employexpert system and fuzzy mathematics and present Expert Intelligent Control(EIC) scheme for the above-mentioned complex dynamic system. The EICconsists of knowledge base, inference engine, recognition engine, and fuzzycontroller. Applying the EIC method, we solve the problem which conventionalmethods find impossible to solve. For implementing this system, we choose the IBM-PC microcomputer andDJS--041 single board computer with Z80 CPU to construct a dual-microcomputercontrol system. In order to meet real-time requirement of the control system,the high speed Numeric Data Processor Intel-8087 is employed. The real-time control software is programmed with high-level language FORTRAN77, and this software has high reliability and is easy to program, debugand modify. The OFDPMACS has a friendly man-machine interface which consists of an easy-to-learn operating system, thus operators can findout the operating states of the drawing process in time. And this interfacemakes it convenient to recognize the faults and recover them automatically. TheOFDPMACS has been put into practical use, and satisfactory results havebeen obtained.

In the present treatise we made a thorough study of the relation between the internal pressure of common bile duct (CBD) of rabbits and their histological construction by way of acute experiments of adding pressure to rabbits' CBD in vivo. It was found that the mean basic pressure of 35 rabbits was 1.21±0.47kpa. The CBD of rabbits whose pressure became greater than basic pressure by 1. 95kPa (experiment group Ⅵ ) ruptured completely. In the present treatise we made a thorough study of the relation between the internal pressure of common bile duct (CBD) of rabbits and their histological construction by way of acute experiments of adding pressure to rabbits' CBD in vivo. It was found that the mean basic pressure of 35 rabbits was 1.21±0.47kpa. The CBD of rabbits whose pressure became greater than basic pressure by 1. 95kPa (experiment group Ⅵ ) ruptured completely. The diameter of CBD of normal rabbits was 1.36±0.20mm, and it increased gradually along with the increase in pressure within the CBD, and the diameter of experiment group Ⅵ reached to 6.44±0.75mm. Histoloical study revealed that following the increase of pressure in CBD, the epithelium changed from tall columnar to low columnar, the stain eddpened and the tension of both elastic fiber and collager increased gradually. The rip of comparatively thin elastic fiber might be observed in experiment group Ⅴ , and therip of collager in group Ⅵ. The result showed that the clinically observed high biliary pressure was unlikely to cause the breakdown of the fibers which maintain the tension and elasticity of bile duct, and the consequent repairing by scar. The gradually stretched biliary might possess the ability of recovering its appearance and function well when the bile pressure became normal and the bile flowing Was free and smooth.

对家免的胆总管(CBD)进行在体急性加压实验,探讨CBD内压力与其组织构筑的关系。结果发现:平均基础压为1.21±0.47kpa,在基础压上增加1.95kpa,CBD全部破裂。正常兔CBD直径为1.31±0.20(mm),随着腔内压力的增高,CBD直径达6.44±0.75mm。组织学发现,随着腔内压力升高,上皮由高柱状变为矮柱状,着色加深。弹力纤维和胶原纤维张力增高,弹力纤维断裂,结果提示:临床与胆道高压一般不会导致维持胆管张力与弹力的纤维发生断裂而出现疤痕修复,当胆压恢复,胆流通畅后,这种扩张的胆管可望有较好的形态与功能的恢复。
