In this paper, the features and its development of bell-less top of BF is discussed and analysed. It is shown that this technology is more suitable for large sized BF and it is also available to medium or small one, if using a simple bell-less top of BF with fixed distribution chute.

A new type of bell-less top with series-parallel hoppers is being practising on a relined existing furnace No. 3 at Tianjin Iron Works. Water cooling and sealing technique is used for the gear-box of distributor. And a multi- ring spreader (chute) is used for burden distribution which has 24 charging patterns. Some major conclusions has been made through imitating burden distribution with a full scale model. The excellent characteristics and the superiority of the new type of bell-less top have been fully proved....

The method and criterion for determining the basic multi-ring charging parameters are stated on basis,thus giving a regression formula in terms of the valid area of throttle value and its openingand a characteristic curve of material flow rate. Different inclinations of multi-ring charging chute are therefore determined and a mathematic model calculating the inclination of charging chute developed.

在高炉串罐无料钟炉顶模型试验基础上,阐述了高炉无料钟炉顶多环布料基本参数确定方法和准则,建立了节流阀有效面积与其开度的回归方程以及料流量特征曲线方程,确定了多环布料溜槽倾角的档位,并建立了溜槽倾角档位的计算数学模型,为高炉无料钟炉顶多环布料实际操作和进一步理论研究提供参考依据.
