OBJECTIVE: Microcalorimetric method was used to study the growth regularity of bacteria. The an- tibacterial function of Chinese drugs was evaluated. METHOD:The bacterial growth thermographic curve in differ- ent conditions were determined with 2277 thermal activity monitor. The bacterial growth rate constants were calcu- lated by Malthus's model. According to the constants, the abilities of natural Chinese drugs to resist bacteriagrowth were evaluated. RESULTS:The antibacterial effect of decoction of Coplis chinensis on eight kinds of bacteriawas generally studied. The antibacterial effect of decoction of Salviae miltiorrhiza on Shigella jlexneri 3 and Pseu- domonas aeruginosa Migula was determined. Critical consistences were 299.6 μl/10 ml and 4l.5μl/10 ml. CON-CLUSIONS:Microcalorimetric method is a new method,by which antibacterial effect of natural Chinese drugs wasstudied in vitro. It is of significance in theoretical study and practical application.

目的:利用微量量热法研究细菌在不同条件下的生长规律,评价天然中药的抗菌作用。方法:利用热活性检测仪,测定了白色葡萄球菌、大肠杆菌、福氏1a,1b,5b,6,x,y,3及绿脓杆菌在不同条件下的生长热谱曲线。根据细菌生长的Malthus模型,计算出各细菌在指定条件下的生长速率常数。以生长速率常数大小为依据评价天然中药的抗菌性能。结果:定性研究了黄连水煎液对白色葡萄球菌等8种细菌的抗菌作用。定量测定了丹参水煎液对福氏3和绿脓杆菌的抗菌作用,拟合出其抑菌生长的临界剂量分别为299.6μl/10ml和41.5μl/10ml。结论:微量量热法是体外研究天然中药抗菌作用的具有理论研究意义和实际应用价值的新方法。

The growth regularity of S.albus, S. lexmeri 1a,1b ,and 5b in various density of decoction of coptis has been studied by the microcalorimetric method. The bacterial thermograms of different conditions were determined, with the 2277 thermal activity monitor. According to it,the bacterial growth rate constants and generation time were calculated.Critical consistences in which decoction of coptis restrains growth of the bacteria were draw up.

Microcalorimetric method was used to study the growth regularity of E.coli and B.subtilis at different concentration of Ganoderma lucidum Farst.The bacterial growth power_time curves in different conditions were determined.The bacterial growth rate constants were calculated by Malthus's model.According to the constants,the abilities of Ganoderma lucidum Farst to promote and to resist bacteria growth were evaluated.The best concentration of the drug was 0.018g·ml -1 and the critical concentration of the drug was 0.3967g·ml -1 for E.Coli.The best concentration of the drug was 0 026g·ml -1 and the critical concentration was 0 2968g·ml -1 for B.subtili. Ganoderma lucidum Farst had promoter action for bacteria when its concentration was lower and had restricted action when its concentration was higher.

应用微量热法测定了大肠杆菌、枯草杆菌在不同浓度灵芝水煎液作用下的生长热———时曲线 ,根据Malthus模型 ,计算出了两种细菌在指定条件的生长速率常数。以生长速率常数大小为依据评价灵芝的促菌抗菌作用。结果为大肠杆菌的最佳用药浓度为 0 0 18g .ml- 1 ,最低用药浓度为 0 .3 967g .ml- 1 。枯草杆菌最佳用药浓度为 0 0 2 6g .ml- 1 ,最低用药浓度为 0 2 968g .ml- 1 。灵芝浓度较小时对两种细菌有促菌作用 ,灵芝浓度较大时对两种细菌有抑菌作用的结论。
