Concept on the critical values for setting grade intervals is introduced and discussed, the errors in classifying the sampled population due to thsee values are also intesvigated. An example for determining these values is given. The problem on sampling by variable or by attributer is discussed. In the problem of sampling by variables, the Neyman and Pearson's theory on two types of errors, as well as the concepts of indifferent intervals are employed in determining the sample size for the purpose of classification. The functional relation n~kσ~2 is suggested showing that the required sample size is proportional to the population variance of the irregularity index, while the constant is changed with respect to the size of indifferent intervals and values of α and β In the problem of sampling by attributes, the Bayes' theorem is employed to verify the reliability of information by the sample size of nine used in factories. It is shown that this sample size is statistically insufficient on some account. Some further problem have been pointed for the further investigation.

Variables sampling plans for σ in simple,double and any positive mth order (except sequential test) are investigated. Thegeneral expression s of OC functions and the average sample numbers by the cumulative and non-cumulative sampling plans for σ in mth order are also given.

An optimum regression mathematical model for calculating the Nb3Sn layer thickness is given as follows:Where,Y-The Nb3Sn layer thickness (μm),x1-The period of heat treatment (hr./100),X2-The temperature of heat treatment (℃/100),x3-The tin content in bronze matrix before heat treatment (Wt.% ×100),x4-The volume ratio of bronze to Nb,x5-The diameter of the Nb filament (mm),x6-n/100, where n is number of filaments.The complex correlation coefficient R and the standard error of estimate for this model are 0.969 and 0.263 respectively. The .F-value of this model is as high as 110 (F0.1=2.4). Therefore, the model is so significant that it may be used to predict or control the Nb3Sn layer thickness. Based on this model, the ranges of time and temperature in optimum heat treatment for Nb3Sn formation have been also discussed.

本文对94组用青铜法制备的多芯Nb_3Sn扩散层厚度的实测数据,在TQ-16型电子计算机上进行逐步回归分析,得到了一个计算多芯Nb_3Sn扩散层厚度的最优回归模型 式中y——Nb_3Sn层厚(μm) x_1——热处理时间(hr/100) x_2——热处理温度(℃/100) x_3——青铜基体锡含量(Wt.%×100) x_4——青铜基体与铌芯的体积比 x_5——复合线中铌芯直径(mm) x_6——复合线中铌芯数目(芯数/100)该回归模型的复相关指数R=0.969,剩余均方差σ=0.263(μm),F检验值为110.模型高度显著,可用于预测与控制.文中还讨论了根据该模型寻求形成Nb_3Sn的最佳热处理制度区域问题.为材料工作者提供了选择工艺参数的依据.
