The design and construction of geological hazards database is very important for the hazard prevention and treatmeat.The geological hazards of Chongqing are the severest in our country.Geological hazards have affected the economic development of Chongqing.But the management of the geological hazards information can't effectively serve the government.In order to enhance the study on the geological hazards of Chongqing.This paper introduces the design and construction of geological hazards information database.The process of database design and construction is discussed from three steps: conceptual design,logistic design and physical construction.The conceptual design mainly includes the design of the contents,the code and the macro-geographical definition of the geological hazards information database.The logical design is mainly to design the structure of the geological database and to integrate the spatial database with attribute database.In the end,the paper introduces how to construct the spatial and attribute database in detail.

灾害信息管理在减灾工作中占有重要地位。世界各国非常重视灾害数据库的建设。我国灾害数据库研究较为薄弱。重庆市地质灾害频繁,但灾害信息的管理缺乏有效的管理方法。因此,在这一地区设计和建立标准统一、功能完善的的地质灾害时空数据库无疑具有十分重要的意义。论文从数据库的概念性设计、逻辑设计和数据库实体建设等方面详细介绍了重庆市地质灾害数据库的设计和建设过程。概念性设计中对重庆市地质灾害数据库的内容、灾害信息的分类编码、数据库的宏观地理定义进行了设计;逻辑设计中侧重对数据库中空间数据和属性数据的结构以及图形属性数据库一体化进行设计;最后,文章从图形数据库和属性数据库2个方面详细介绍了如何进行重庆市地质灾害数据库的实体建设。
