This paper presents a new method for attitude determination with GPS:the damped LAMBDA algorithm with coordinates functional constraint. And the precision estimation of azimuth and attitude are discussed. The attitude determination has the following two characteristics: ① the baselines are very short, so that the satellite orbit errors and atmosphere delay errors can be removed through double difference; ② the length of every baseline is fixed. This is helpful for fixing ambiguities.

A damped LAMBDA algorithm is used for single epoch GPS positioning combining the condition that baseline length on vessel is fixed, a new method for attitude determination with GPS is put forward. Its advantages are threefolds:( 1) Only use an epoch observation;( 2) Adding damped factors into normal equation to avoid its rank deficiency;( 3) As the three baseline lengths are constant,with dirext adjustment can improve the reliability of ambiguities and positioning precision.

在作者提出的GPS单历元阻尼LAMBDA算法的基础上,结合固定边长条件,给出了一种GPS姿态定位的新方法。该方法的特点在于:(1)仅利用当前一个历元的GPS观测数据;(2)在单历元法方程中添加阻尼矩阵,克服了LAMBDA方法的局限性,提高了模糊度搜索速度;(3)利用三台接收机的固定边长条件直接平差,可以提高模糊度解算的可靠性和定位精度。

The accuracy of approximate coordinates of deformation station provides useful constraint condition for single epoch GPS positioning. Utilizing the characteristic of deformation at the stations and smoothing approach makes the "damped LAMBDA algorithm for single epoch GPS positioning" suitable for statically deformation monitoring.Consequently, two kinds of processing mode including "static monitoring mode" and "kinematic monitoring mode" are unified into a "static and kinematic monitoring mode". The effectiveness...

The accuracy of approximate coordinates of deformation station provides useful constraint condition for single epoch GPS positioning. Utilizing the characteristic of deformation at the stations and smoothing approach makes the "damped LAMBDA algorithm for single epoch GPS positioning" suitable for statically deformation monitoring.Consequently, two kinds of processing mode including "static monitoring mode" and "kinematic monitoring mode" are unified into a "static and kinematic monitoring mode". The effectiveness of new method is tested by following two experiments: simulative deformation observing and GPS surveying on Geheyan Dam. The experiment results indicates that real time epoch positioning accuracy is better than 2 cm, and smoothing coordinates of observations for 2 hours can reach the level of 3 mm. The processing approach with two fiducial stations is discussed, and the influences on the positioning accuracy by use of single fiducial station or double stations are compared.

形变监测点近似坐标的概略精度指标为GPS单历元定位提供了有利条件 ,结合水库形变监测点形变特征 ,采用平滑处理方法 ,“GPS单历元阻尼LAMBDA算法”可用于静态形变测量 ,这就将以往的“静态监测模式”与“动态监测模式”统一为“动静态监测模式”。采用模拟实验和清江隔河岩大坝实测数据检验了“动静态模式”的有效性 ,结果表明 :单历元定位精度优于 2cm ,两小时观测数据的平滑坐标可以达到 3mm的定位精度。同时讨论了具有两个基准站的数据处理方法 ,比较了单基准站与双基准站对监测点定位精度的影响
