The experimental results showed that under appropriate conditions, by adopting catalytic oxidation with Fenton's reagent - coagulating separation by adding alkali - cyclic recirculation of treated wastewater, the effluent could meet the discharge standard; CODcr removal rate was up to 96%. This process has the effect of lowering reagent consumption and increasing CODcr...

Discharged waste water is the main -pollutant from the ethylene glycol plant. After quantitative analysis and study on the ethylene glycol waste water,the main pollution components and contents are determined. The mutual relationship between COD,BOD,TOC,MEG and DEG in the waste water is analysed. A new method is presented to analyse ethylene glycol and diethylene glycol in the waste water.
