The double satellites navigation system in the stand-alone mode cannot accomplish real-time three dimensions(3-D) passive navigation due to the limited number of satellites.In order to meet the passive 3-D navigation demand,the near-space pseudolite is proposed.The double satellites augmentation system based on near-space pseudolite is put forward and designed.The near-space pseudolite's motivation,scope,platform and applicability is analyzed or established in details.Several schemes of near-space pseudolite positioning for itself are put forward.By comparing these schemes,the feasible one is determined.It is important to recognize that the near-space pseudolite not only can meet the desire of 3-D passive navigation currently,but also has important application merits for future near-space vehicle systems.
