PIDE (Protocol Integrated Development Environment) is a development environment of computer network protocol, which is developed by Software and Network Engineering Laboratory of Northeast University of Technology. It consists of a set of tools, such as formal description tool, testing tool, auto-implementation tool, simulation tool and so on. Those tools are used to support all the procedures of protocol development.The structure of PIDE and each tool are introduced in this paper. Conformance testing is to test the extent of which an implementation under test is a conforming implementation. Only after conformance testing can the communication products communicate each other effectively and accurately. We study and develop a conformance testing environment which consists of a suitable set of general tools for conformance testing which is a part of PIDE (Protocol Integrated Development Environment) in NorthEast University of Technology. Conformance testing is to test the extent of which an implementation under test is a conforming implementation. Only after conformance testing can the communication products communicate each other effectively and accurately. We study and develop a conformance testing environment which consists of a suitable set of general tools for conformance testing which is a part of PIDE (Protocol Integrated Development Environment) in NorthEast University of Technology. Users can use this facility to generate some testing systems of their own according to the test method and the implementation under test they chose, thus greatly increase the reliability and completeness of testing systems and decrease the complexity for the installation. In order to prove the reliability, we have used it to test the IP (Internet Protocol) Implementation. As a result, the environment is proved to be reliable and accurate.

本文介绍的网络协议一致性测试环境是东北工学院软件研究与开发中心开发的网络协议开发集成环境PIDE(Protocol Integrated Development Environment)的一个子环境,它以TTCN编译器为核心,为用户提供一系列测试工具,用户可根据自己选择的测试方法和被测实现由该环境自动生成一个测试系统,因而大大降低了构造测试系统的复杂性,为验证该环境,我们用它对IP协议实现进行了一致性测试。

This article presents a Virtual InterNetwork Testbed-VINT used widely abroad ,demostrates its software architecture and realize of its abilities particularly,dicusses deeply its main application,and evaluates its advantages and disadvantages d\objhectivly.Practices indicate VINT is a very convenient environment for users to develop and test new protocol.

介绍了一种在国外广泛使用的虚拟互联网络测试平台-VINT,详细描述了它的软件体系结构以及 各个功能的具体实现,深入探讨了它的主要应用,对它的优缺点作出了客观的评价。实践表明,VINT是一 种十分方便的网络协议开发测试环境。
