Early comprehensive intervention including medical intervention, early intervention, nutrition intervention and convalescent care was performed in the intervention group.
The number of cases whose average DQ was lower than 75 in the early intervention group(1/75) was significantly less than that of the control group(8/42) ( χ 2=8.728,P<0.05 ) Conclusion The early integrated intervention can improve the neuropsychological development of high risk neonates.
Conclusion Early combined intervention could promote the intellectual development of neonates with severe asphyxia, and, furthermore, it could decrease the incidence of nerve sequelae and improve prognosis.
811 cases of newborn infants were rendomly assigned to early intervention(425 cases)and control(326 cases)group. The occur rate of convulsions in intervention group was lower than in control(P<0.01).Convulsions in preterm infant was higher than in normal newborn(P<0.01).Convulsions in Small for Gestational Age was higher than in LGA and in AGA.There were significant difference in 3 groups(P<0.05),The results showed that the early intervention could decrease the convulsions of newborn infants.
Objective To investigate the effect of neoneatal diseases on intelligent development in very low birth weight infants. Methods Follow investigation was made in 91 children aged 4 to 9years with premature very low birth weight using Mikacin child intelligence test tabl. Results There were significant differences of IQ in different groups with different newborn infant's diseases( P <0.0001).Analysis of stepwise regression showed that the main newborn diseases which affect intelligence of ve...
