From these curves, it can also be shown that the material have "pseudo-plastic" fracture characteristic or "non-brittle" fracture behavior.Investigation of microstructure and crack propagation of 3D C-C material provides some information regarding tensile fracture mechanisms. It is shown that the fracture of 3D C-C material results from the creation, extention and cumulation of failure of carbon fibre bundles under tensile load. The tensile fracture of carbon fibre bundle results from creation, extention and cumulation of failure of carbon filaments too.It is observed that cumulation failure is the most probable cause for the tensile fracture of 3D C-C material.

本文通过对于用中强碳纤维以高压工艺制得的三向增强碳-碳复合材料(简称三向碳-碳材料)进行拉伸性能测试和拉伸断口的扫描电镜观察,研究了三向碳-碳材料的拉伸断裂特性。三向碳-碳材料在拉伸应力作用下,其应力-应变曲线出现线弹性段和弹塑性段,显示“假塑性”特性。通过对三向碳-碳材料的微观结构和裂纹扩展的研究,提出了拉伸断裂的初步模式。在三向碳-碳材料中,纤维束是载荷的主要携带组元,纤维束中单丝的断裂是逐渐产生、发展和累积的结果,而不是突然发生的,因而认为三向碳-碳材料的拉伸断裂过程更接近于受累积断裂机理控制。

The paper studied difference of mechanical properties between single fiber drawing and multifil drawing of PET filament. The breaking strength of a PET filament in single fiber drawing is higher than that in multifil drawing, because the fibers are not broken at the same time in the latter. A new concept - calculating breaking strength of multifil - has been advanced in the paper. Using the concept, we can get breaking strength of single fiber by multifil drawing. The two breaking ratio-elongation distributions are different, but their averages are similar. The two initial moduli are the same, because they are all measured in small deformation.

从钻井现场取回多根石油钻井用钢丝绳单丝断裂试样进行了分析研究.结果表明,断口处均具有程度不同的磨损,断面为冰糖状脆性断口,均具有很高的硬度,显微组织为形态不同的高碳淬火马氏体.得出单丝断裂的原因是钢丝绳工作时部分钢丝局部承受高压高速摩擦发热发生相变自淬火造成的。
