Porous bioactive glass ceramic particles were implanted into the mandible in 15 rabbits subperios-teally and supraperiosteally. Specimens obtained 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 and 6 months after the implantation were observed with light, fluorescent and scanning electron microscopes. It was found that the material was compatible with tissues, and the new bone tissue was found 1 week after subperiosteal implantation. There was bony union between newly formed bone and bioactive glass ceramic particles 1 month later,...

Specimens obtained 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 and 6 months after the implantation were observed with light, fluorescent and scanning electron microscopes. It was found that the material was compatible with tissues, and the new bone tissue was found 1 week after subperiosteal implantation. There was bony union between newly formed bone and bioactive glass ceramic particles 1 month later, and new bone grew into the porosity of the particles half a year after operation. No new bone formation was found in the supraperiosteal site in 6 month period of observation. It is concluded that the porous bioactive glass ceramic particles possessed of excellent biological compatibility, and they should be implanted subperiosteally if new bone formation were to be expected.

Results showed that BMP-porous titaniumcomposite implants promoted earlier new bone formation and bone maturity, and BMP seemed to accelerate osseointegration at the interface and shorten the interval between two operations, It is therefore worth tlinical trials.

本实验把牛骨形成蛋白(bBMP)与微孔钛种植体复合,植入狗的下颌前磨牙区,在种植后1、2、4、8、12、24周时处死,经光镜、扫描电镜、透射电镜及早期界面成骨量测定,结果证实骨形成蛋白复合的微孔钛种植体具有成骨早、成骨量大、骨成熟早的特点,加速了种植体-骨界面的骨融合,可缩短2次手术时间,有重要的临床应用价值。

The results revealed that as attachment structures,hemidesmosomes contact, focal contact, extracellular matrix contact could be distinguished on BGC materials surface and epithelial cells had normal surface mophology including mocrovilli. Also there were no changes on elements of BGC during 16~21 days culture.The results of this study suggest the property of the subtrate that determines the nature and the structure of the contact site with epithelial cells is able to secure the permucosal seal.

采用牙龈上皮细胞体外培养方法,对国产生物活性玻璃陶瓷(BGC)的牙龈界面,进行了超微结构观察分析。结果发现:透射电镜(TEM)下BGC与上皮细胞界面结合形式有三种,其中半桥粒结构被认为在上皮附着材料中起重要的结合作用;扫描电镜(SEM)及X线能谱分析(EDAX)发现上皮细胞在BGC上生长良好。结果表明:BGC能够与牙龈上皮形成良好界面。粘膜封闭的形成保证了种植体在口腔内的长期成功。
