If the ratio of the former to latter,the variety tendsto dwarfing. Otherwise,it tends to arborize.

本文分别对苹果的4个短枝型品种和4个乔化品种叶的解剖结构进行了光学显微镜的观察,并通过测微尺对叶的横切面各部分进行了测量,得出苹果品种叶片解剖构造与生长势的关系。结果表明苹果品种叶片厚度与其生长势无关;叶的上、下表皮厚度与生长势有相关性,上、下表皮占叶片厚度的百分率大,品种趋于矮化,反之则趋于乔化;叶肉栅栏组织厚度大于海绵组织厚度是品种矮化的解剖学指标;栅/海大,品种趋于矮化,反之则趋于乔化。
