Objective:To investigate the changes of plasma fibrinogen and serum K~+ and concentration in patients with essential hypertension before and after diovan (Caps Valsartan)treatment.
Conclusion: Plasma fibrinogen levels are higher while serum K~+ concentrations are lower in patients with hypertension. Diovan can decrease blood pressure as well as plasma fibrinogen concentrations ,but doesn’t change the levels of serum K~+.
