Seed germination and seedling growth of Caryota urens are very slow, so the tests of different treatment, accelerating germination in different time and different treatment after accelerating germination had been done. The results show: (1) Growth regulator (ABT 3,indolebutyric acid and 2,4 dichloro phenoxyacetic acid) can improve the germination rate and promote growth of seedling.
