This paper tries to illu-strate that the deposit is strictly controlled by Jinchang overthrust nappe which is the part (passing through the mine) of Jiujia-Anding fracture of fled River fracture zone, and that the NW secondary structure of Jinchang overthrust nappe and the early structure of EW stock the ore. The early quartz vein of lean gold is controlled by the secondary fracture, joint and interformational slip surface of NW. the middle quartz vein of rich gold is controlled by the reactivities of early structure of EW during metallo-genetic epoch(Middle-Late Yanshan). The late quartz vein of non-gold is controlled by the tension joint of SN.

systematic study of typomotphic characteristics,i.e. microelements, fluid inclusion,color,specific gravity,ther-moluinescent,unit cell paraneter and infrared spectra etc. ,had been made. Through discrimination analysis on these characteris-tics, a series lf prospecting criteria were propsed.
