The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), in combination with the new optical fiber technique, was applied to the study of the infrared spectra of 11 salivary gland tumors tissues, including 9 benign tumors and 2 malignant tumors, 7 normal salivary gland tissues and 1 sjogren syndrome tissue, The results showed that the infrared spectra were similar between the normal salivary gland and the sjogren syndrome, whereas there were significant spectral differences between the normal salivary gland and the...

The Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR), in combination with the new optical fiber technique, was applied to the study of the infrared spectra of 11 salivary gland tumors tissues, including 9 benign tumors and 2 malignant tumors, 7 normal salivary gland tissues and 1 sjogren syndrome tissue, The results showed that the infrared spectra were similar between the normal salivary gland and the sjogren syndrome, whereas there were significant spectral differences between the normal salivary gland and the tumors, in addition, the benign tumors displayed some spectral differences compared with the malignant ones in some bands. The study showed that mid infrared optical fiber technique was an entirely new and objective approach to the diagnosis of salivary gland tumors, and is very likely to become a no trauma method for diagnosis of tumor in the future.

采用傅里叶变换红外光谱法(FTIR)与中红外光导纤维联用技术对11例肿瘤(良性肿瘤9例,恶性肿瘤2例),7例正常腮腺和1例合格化综合症的红外光谱进行了对比研究。结果发现正常腮腺和舍格伦综合症的红外光谱很相似,而与肿瘤的光谱存在着明显差别,同时也观察到良性与恶性肿瘤的光谱在若干波段处也有所不同。说明中红外光纤技术是腮腺肿瘤诊断的一种新方法。并有可能发展为非损伤性的肿瘤诊断方法。
