Some leaf color mutants were obtained through radiation of dry seeds of maintainer line of hybrid rice Longtefu B with 60 Co γ rays at a dosage of 300 Gy,from a part of which cross and backcross were made with CMS line Longtefu A and selected as rotational parent,resulting in producing BC 1 population.Analysis and identification were made on M 4 and BC 1 population.Results of genetic analysis showed that mutant marked with leaf color were all controlled by a pair of recessive gene.Analysis of agronomic characters indicated that CMS lines were roughly similar to Longtefu A the check in plant height.Four promising CMS lines with leaf color were selected.

Two specific DNA fragments (not found in V20B) of 97C-77(a strain of the 7th generation from a variant) and O.minuta from RAPD analysis were sequenced. Sequences of the two DNA fragments were identical except for the differences at 29 base positions. The results proved further that specific DNA fragment of O.minuta had been transferred into V20B, and indicated that the specific exogenous DNA fragments may even cause the recipient obtaining new variant characters for changes of their base sequences.

将小粒野生稻 (Oryzaminuta)总DNA导入杂交水稻保持系V2 0B获得变异系 ,经RAPD分析找到了受体中不存在而变异系及供体中存在的特异带。将自变异系与供体扩增出的长均为 975bP的特异DNA片段分别回收、克隆、测序 ,发现两者核苷酸序列极为相似 ,从而进一步证明了远缘资源特异DNA片段向水稻的转移 ;同时发现两者间存在 2 9个碱基差异 (包括转换、颠换、插入及缺失 4种类型 ) ,表明供体特异DNA片段的导入不仅可能使供体特异性状在变异系中表达 ,也可能由于个别碱基的突变而使受体产生新性状。
