The present paper is devoted to the geometric topological analysis of the solutions of two-phase flows on the basis of a two-fluid model. The necessary conditions of the occurence of singular points, their location in the phase space and the character of them are all discussed in de-tial. An example is given to show the procedure and the results of such an analysis.In addition, a mathematical criterion for choking has also been discussed.
