Finally, applying the developed fore processing software to build the actual FEA module of the rotor blades, the simulation analysis of the vibration mode of a 600kW HAWT rotating rotor were carried out using the ANSYS structural dynamic analysis software. The analysis results of the composite material blades considering stiffening effect were obtained and compared.
Composite blades are a little lighter than wood, for the same stiffness.
