This paper analyzes the influences of the Protocol of China's Accession to WTO on import and export services of power enterprises in the aspects of laws and regula-tions, trade rights, national treatment, bidding procedure, non-tariff measures, technical codes and standards and export subsidies.
Chinese government makes some promises about textiles and garments on joining the WTO . which mainly include: reduction on tariff, economic system covering the investment system and price policy, and policies influencing commodity trade (which contains: promises regarding trading rights and import legislation), and promises on domestic policy affecting commodity trade.
In line with the WTO commitments, the cancellation of non-tariff barriers, tariff concession and granting of trade right and distribution right to foreign companies are supposed to be done within five-year transitional period.
