旱作农田沟垄覆盖集水技术是在农田上开沟起垄,垄上覆膜,沟内种植,增加作物生长地段的地表集水量。莜麦地膜沟垄全生育期平均增墒值达1.3%~1.4%,相当于平均每次降水后增加3.8~4.1mm降水,比对照平均增墒10.3%~11.97%,在其它各生育时期均表现增墒,增墒值平均为0.7%~1.8%,最高达2.7%。不同种植方式推广的位次为地膜玉米,地膜莜麦、小麦,土沟垄玉米、莜麦、小麦,仿砂田和平铺膜效益低于对照。增产幅度依次为85.2%、36.5%~39.1%、31.1%、27.3%、20.7%、17.7%、15.2%。旱地地膜沟垄小麦的沟垄宽度比5∶4,集水率为66.6%。地膜莜麦的沟垄比例2∶1,集水率为41.6%。旱作沟垄种植,可减小沟内风速,抑制作物棵间的无效蒸散,减少土壤水分的无效损耗。有利于抗旱、增墒、建立稳定的节水型农业。
