The study showed that CO2 foam fracturing fluid possesses the advantages of high foam quality, good stability, longer half-life period, strong viscoelasticity, excellent resistance to high temperature and shearing, satisfied fluidity, easily reached degradation, low interface tension and lowered formation damage therefore it adapts very well to the requirements of fracturing operations in low permeability low pressure formations.
The uncured, directly mixed and gelled fluid has poor T/S resistance and a sharp drop down in viscosity is always observed in the course of shearing and temperature raise and maintenance (70℃, 170s -1 ) before a more or less stable value is reached.
For undercured (in 10 min) gel this viscosity drop down is less notable. The viscosity of properly cured (in 20 min) gel only slowly lowers down and aproximates to a high stable value (100 mPa·s).
Tests indicate that the fracturing fluid containing DCL KB possesses the advan tage of adjustable delayed crosslinking time, good thermal stability, quick breaking property.
Lad test and field test proved optimal fracturing fluid having good comprehensive properties, it has good temperatur-tolerate and shear-tolerate properties, low filteration, low surface and interface tensile force.

Organo - borate crosslinking fracturing fluid was adopted, against the reservoir characteristic of high temperature in Dabei 52 section, Shengli oil field. The selection of rheological test condition, friction property, proppant carrying capacity and formation damage etc. , are discussed in detail.
