The methods of analysing the ring cavity of the dye lasers are syste- matically described and three waist locations of Gaussian Beam and their minimum spot sizes are calculated.The Gaussian Beam is characterized and the calculated results agree with the actual measurements. These methods can also be applied to analysing the ring cavity of the laser gyro and then the diameter of the gain capillary can be determined with the given cavity length.

The method for measuring convective diffusion ceefficients of driving gases inreservoir fluid by slim tube displacement method has been established in this work.The convectivediffusion coefficients of CO_2-normal octane and normal tetradecane systems have been measuredand the effect of driving rate and the molecular weight of normal octane and normal tetradecaneon the convective diffusion have been investigated.

建立了由细管驱替实验测定驱替气体在油藏流体中的对流扩散系数的测定方法。测定了CO_2分别在正辛烷、正十四烷中的对流扩散系数,并研究了驱替速度及正辛烷、正十四烷分子量对扩散的影响。
