It was found that as initial inoculum volumes increased the GTFI over expression mutants adhere less firmly and their adherence patterns changed from crossed webs or three dimensional nets to stratified fragment. The structure changes may be due to the increase of glucan synthesis.

本文对实验制备的变链菌Ⅰ型JBP(c)和变链菌Ⅲ型6715(g)含酶上清液和含酶提取液在外加引物后合成葡聚糖能力进行研究,发现JBP(c)含酶上清液合成水不溶性葡聚糖及6715(g)含酶上清液合成水溶性和水不溶性葡聚糖均明显增加(P<0.05)。两种变链菌含酶提取液合成水溶性和水不溶性葡聚糖均无明显改变(P>0.05)。结果提示,JBP(c)含酶上清液中存在的GTF-I和6715(g)含酶上清液中存在的GTF-I及GTF-S可能为外源性引物依赖性GTF,两种变链菌含酶提取液中存在的GTF-I及GTF-S可能为外源性引物非依赖性GTF。可以推测,上清液中存在的外源性引物依赖性GTF-I及其合成的IG在蔗糖依赖性粘附中可能起主导作用。
