Aimed at the requirement of the long-range underwater acoustic information transmission with the low bit-error rate(BER),the method for combining the frequency division multiplexing(FDM) and the M-ary frequency shift keying(MFSK) is proposed.
By analyzing the characteristics of underwater channel and information sources and combining with the new advancement in the channel encoding theory and technology, an encoding and decoding method of unequal error correcting protection with high performance is proposed, which is greatly suitable for underwater acoustics information transmission.
The simulation results predicted that the long-range acoustic communication system which based on MC-PSK modulation could satisfaction the requirements of the information transmission system.
