This device selects the Cyclone Ⅱseries chip and downloads configuration, which can finish the point-to-point comparison interpolation algorithm of the pulse-increment mode. It defines the corresponding input/output interface. The VHDL program simulation illustrates the output pulse waves, and carries the interpolation functions of linear and circular contour in four quadrants.

基于数控智能芯片的架构和软件硬化的理念,利用FPGA/CPLD设计插补模块既保留了硬件电路运算速度快(纳秒级)、插补思路清晰的优点,又克服了原有数字逻辑插补电路灵活性差的缺点。选用美国Altera公司的CycloneⅡ系列芯片进行下载配置,实现了脉冲增量式插补中的逐点比较法轮廓插补算法,定义出了芯片的输入/输出接口,通过VHDL语言进行编程仿真,获得了输出脉冲波形,完成了直线和圆弧轮廓4个象限的插补功能。

The fine interpolation circuit based on the counter/timer and the principle of the fine interpolation circuit was discussed in this paper. The software flowchart for implementing the fine interpolation circuit was also presented. By using the fine interpolation circuit in this means, the uniform pulse series of each axis could be distributed in an interpolation cycle, thus the running speed and step number of the motor could be controlled.

给出了可编程定时器/计数器8254实现精插补电路的原理图,对可编程定时器/计数器8254实现精插补的工作原理进行了详细介绍,并给出了可编程定时器/计数器8254实现精插补电路原理图的软件流程图。该精插补电路可将粗插补得到的每根轴的任意脉冲数分配到插补周期中,实现电机运行速度和步数的控制。
