Numerical simulations of the blade to blade flow field in a centrifugal impeller have been carried on by using 2 D mean steady incompressible Navier Stokes equations and k ε turbulent model in arbitrary boundary fitted coordinate system.It is shown that the underrelaxation factors of line by line iteration are lower than those in non rotational flow calculations and a more reasonable initial flow field is required due to the larger ratio of centrifugal forces in the source terms of momentum equations.The calculation results of the flow fields are in a good agreement with the LDA data with the exception of the near wall region of the blade surfaces.Some of the discrepancies in the near wall region are caused mainly by the assumption of 2 D flow and ignoring the rotational effects in the turbulence model.Additionally,the calculation precision is also affected,since inlet and outlet boundaries of the computational domain cannot be located so far away from the blades.

本文用二维不可压平均定常的 N- S方程组结合两方程 k-ε湍流模型 ,在任意适体曲线坐标系上计算了旋转离心叶轮叶片通道内的相对流场 ,结果与实验数据吻合良好。分析表明 ,由于离心力和哥氏力构成动量方程中的一个很大源项 ,因而较之非旋转流动需要采用较低的低松弛因子 ,并相应地提高了对初始流场和初始压力场的要求

Relative eddy is a special relative flow within centrifugal blade passage, which is of prime importance in flow study of pumps. The experimental investigation concerning the velocity distribution of relative eddy by employing advanced PIV system has been conducted for the first time. The experimental results and theoretical analyses presented here would offer valuable information for further study later of this kind of flow.

轴向旋涡流动是离心叶轮叶片之间一种特殊的相对流动,其流动规律是离心叶轮正反问题研究的重要基础。以先进的PIV测试系统在一特殊的自制叶轮内有针对性地完成了轴向旋涡速度分布规律测试,这些测试结果和有关理论探讨将为认识这一重要的流动现象提供有价值的依据。
