Both give emphasis to the distinction between the love for man and that for objects, and the distinctive value man possesses as contrasted with objects. However, they differ from each other in that Buddhism displays rational thinking specific to only man, and its humanitarian ideology involves respect for mans moral voluntariness, but Mohism shows sensible thinking, and its humanitarian ideology concentrates on the satisfying of mans sense desires. If the two types of humanitarian ideology are subject to the modern and contemporary vision of humanitarianism, both are imperfect for the negligence of personal value. Buddhism unilaterally emphasizes moral rationality, making personality subject to sociality and the humanitarian ideology reduced to be the instrument for defending the benefits of the ruling class. Mohism, on the other hand, stresses the necessity of satisfying mans sense desires but neglects the development of the human potential. For this reason, the rich ancient Chinese humanitarian ideology has never evolved into the modern or contemporary humanitarianism.

先秦诸子中 ,儒家讲仁爱 ,墨家讲兼爱 ,成为古代人道思想的两种主要形态。两种人道思想的共同之处在于都强调爱人与爱物的区别 ,强调人之异于物的独特价值。其相异之点在于儒家有见于人性的理性之维 ,其人道思想体现了对人的道德自觉能力的尊重 ;墨家有见于人性的感性之维 ,其人道思想侧重于对人的感性欲求的满足。儒家把仁爱建立在“亲亲”的血缘关系的基础上 ,比较符合宗法制社会的实际情况 ,且在儒墨对峙中相对开放 ,吸收了不少墨家的合理思想 ,秦汉以后成为封建社会的正统思想。墨家的兼爱由于过于理想化 ,不合当时人们的思想实际 ,加上自身的封闭性及忽视理论发展等缺陷 ,使其兼爱思想趋于湮灭 ,只是在后世的游侠或农民起义思想中有过短暂的再现 ,成为下层人民反抗暴政的武器。把两种人道思想置于近、现代人道主义的视域 ,其共同缺失在于忽视个体价值。儒家对道德理性的片面强化 ,使个性屈服于社会性 ,人道思想成为维护社会整体利益 (主要表现为统治者利益 )的工具。墨家思想强调人的感性欲望满足的必要性 ,但忽视了人的多方面潜能的发展。因而中国古代虽有很丰富的人道思想却未能发展出近、现代人道主义

Chinese kong fu novels in the late 20s and early 40s of last century, which made a brilliant appearance in the arena of popular literature, are posses sed of unique traits in the following aspects: a profound portrayal and criticis m of social reality and affirmation of humanism and humanity in terms of ideolog y; complex narrative methods and richer character personality coupled with a t ransfer from “the plot_centre” to “the character_centre” in character deline atio n; and richer imagination and strong romantic flavour in the aspect of artistic imagination. Moreover, in the novels priority is given to describing marital art and dr awing on the expressive modes of foreign literature and new literature , thus ha ving made the narration more intriguing, the characters more true to life and the novels more well_wrought.

20世纪20年代初至40年代末的中国武侠小说以全新的姿态活跃在通俗文学的舞台,体 现出以下现代性特征:在思想内容上,对现实社会的描写和批判更加深刻,表现了武侠社会 在现代社会的困境,以侠的世界来批判现实,以侠的人格和生命境界的开拓,来肯定现代的 人道主义思想,肯定人性;在形象塑造上,描写手段更复杂,人物性格更丰富,基本上实现 了“情节中心”向“性格中心”的转移。在艺术想象上,作家驰骋想象空间,扩大了武侠世 界的天地,透溢出浪漫主义的诗情画意。在武功描写上,更为具体丰富,是构成整个 小说的有机成分,对突出人物性格,增强作品的现实感和吸引力,起到了重要作用;在叙述 形式上,在继承中国章回小说优良传统的基础上,大胆借鉴外国文学和新文学的表现手法, 使表现手段更为娴熟,形式更为多样。

This article first analyses traditional ethics that hold a negative attitude towards mercy killing, and then, based on modern ethics, points out its humanitarian nature. Also the article makes an approach to the social problems of putting mercy killing into effect. It is under no obligation to choose mercy killing and doing so doesn抰 mean looking down on lives.

安乐死是一种优化的死亡状态,其本质是保证死亡的质量,而不是决定人的生与死。实行安乐死符合现代人道主义,是对患者的尊重,并不影响现代医学的发展,不是对社会责任的否认,具有现代社会价值。在讨论安乐死时应该注意理性与情感关系问题。选择安乐死不是一种义务,提倡安乐死不是轻视生命。安乐死合法化是一件十分复杂而慎重的事情。
