This paper introduces the construct, realizing method and system conunissioning of pressure control system of straightener roller in Beam Blank caster with help of PID controller in PLC software.
The results indicate that the most dangerous point of beam blank section is located at the middle of web plate, the next is located at middle of flange girth. The solidification shell at the conjunctional arc of web plate and flange girth is so thin that the stress value is greater.
The solidification in a beam blank was numerically simulated by using ANSYS commercial software in order to analyze surfacal and internal cracks in the beam blank. The boundary conditions were based on measured technical parameters in practical production.
