An integral melting equation was derived according to free volume theory.Because free volume, V f is much smaller than cell volume V(V f/ V ≈0.005~0.01) at melting temperature,a simplified formula was obtained to be the same as Lindemann equation.The immanent physics of Lindemann law is discussed briefly.
