Method: From June, 2002 to December 2003, 8652 students between 7 to 15 years old in 14 primary and Junior Middle Schools were checked for scoliosis in “Point Line”. Radiography was also used.

Result: Positive findings were found in 613 cases. 93 cases were found positive in “Point Line” and 65 cases had positive findings in the radiography of more than 10 degrees. Prevalence of scoliosis were 0.75%(65/8652).
