To evaluate the thermal fragmentation of the ores in Nanfeng Open-pit Mine,experimental research on the strength variation of magnetite-quartzite and hematite-quartzite ores under different temperature was made by point-load method. The test results showed that the rock strength decreased remarkadly after the heating temperature reached 400℃. This strength variation law is of great significance in analysing the practicability of jet-piperce reaming in both ores.

Coal quality and the boiler's operational condition are the main factors that influence the burn-out rate of Fujian anthracite coal.Due to coal quality and combustion characteristics such as compactness of interior particle structure,poor reactivity and strong fragmentation tendency at high temperatures are the main intrinsic factors that cause Fujian anthracite coal hard to burn out in CFB boilers;whereas boiler operation factors such as the distribution of coal granules fed,excess air ratio,secondary air rate,as well as the way of its feeding,and the combustion temperature have also a great effect on the coal's burn-out rate.Test results show that coarser sieved particles with a narrow size range,increased excess air ratio and the secondary air rate,enhanced secondary air's stirring and penetrating capability and increased combustion temperature all help to raise the burn out rate of Fujian anthracite in CFB boilers.The excess air ratio should be kept within(1.25)-(1.30),and combustion temperature raised to about 1000 °C to obtain better combustion effect.Figs 8,tables 2 and refs 15.

煤质特性和锅炉运行工况是影响福建无烟煤在CFB锅炉中燃尽的主要因素。致密的颗粒内部结构、很差的反应性和强烈的热破碎性等煤质特性和燃烧特性是导致福建无烟煤颗粒在CFB锅炉中难于被燃尽的内因,而入炉煤粒径分布、过量空气系数、二次风输送方式及二次风率、燃烧温度等锅炉运行参数对其燃尽也有很大的影响。采用窄筛分偏粗颗粒入炉煤、提高燃烧过量空气系数和二次风率,增强二次风的扰动穿透能力、提高燃烧温度等运行措施有利于福建无烟煤焦在CFB锅炉中的燃尽。为取得较好的燃烧效果,燃烧温度应提高到1000℃左右,过量空气系数应维持在1.25~1.30之间。图8表2参15
